How to serve at 6–8 months

Best to wait, or offer only as a smashed/quartered mash. Whole or halved grapes are never safe at this age.

How to serve at 9–11 months

Quarter lengthwise (never crosswise into rounds). Skin can be peeled for younger eaters.

How to serve at 12+ months

Continue quartering lengthwise until at least age 4 — this is non-negotiable.
